Over time, even with proper maintenance and care, the accuracy of any loadcell tends to diminish and become unstable. This happens for a number of reasons, but the most common of these is simple wear and tear on the inner working of the loadcell from general use. All loadcells should be calibrated annually to ensure that they are working correctly and providing accurate readings.

Here at our workshop in the West Midlands, our testing and calibration equipment is UKAS traceable and can be used to calibrate from 1 Tonne to 200 Tonnes in Tension and from 1 Tonne to 300 Tonnes in Compression. With many years experience, our technicians can calibrate, reset and repair most makes and models of load cells, crane scales, and other portable weighing devices.

On some occasions, your equipment may need to be repaired or replaced. We have highly experienced in-house repair engineers, working in our dedicated facility, who specialise in this operation and are comfortable working on every type of loadcell from the majority of manufacturers.

When a loadcell is in need of repair, we will contact you to explain the problem and present the options available before any work is carried out.

Once the work is approved, we will complete it as rapidly and cost effectively as possible.
