Our Services
No matter where you are in the world, we offer a full production service for bespoke test machines. This includes consultancy, design work, manufacturing, project management, delivery, installation, commissioning and training complete with competency certification.
As well as building new machines, we also carry out upgrades to existing AJT and non-AJT manufactured machines. This could include adding data logging software, PC control software, interlocked safety guarding and full safety systems, hydraulic upgrades, test fixtures and adaptors, and the general modernisation of old machines.
Tailored calibration, servicing and maintenance contracts can be included with any test machine purchase.
Alongside our own brand of Wireless Accuway™ Loadlinks that range from 1 to 500 Tonnes, we can source most makes and models of tension load links, compressive load cells, crane scales and other weighing devices.
We are an Official Crosby Straightpoint distributor, meaning you can purchase Straightpoint products from us at no extra cost.
Mobcal – send in your portable equipment to the AJT workshop for calibration or repair. We work with most makes and models of tensile load links, compressive load cells, and crane scales.
Onsite – we travel internationally to customers’ sites to calibrate, repair and service most types of force test machinery.
History
AJT Equipment is a family owned British company that was established over 70 years ago with the mission to design, develop and build Test Machines to serve the local chain making industry in the Black Country.
Over the years as our mission has evolved and expanded, the company has embraced new ideas and invested heavily in research and development to meet the changing needs of our customers. Taking this approach has allowed us to continually exceed expectations, both by strengthening our capabilities with existing applications, and by widening our product range to include more equipment and services.
With our team’s combined experience, we offer unrivalled expertise in the load testing industry. Our proficiency, capability and dedication have seen us become internationally recognised for the quality and precision of our machines, which are now used regularly all over the globe.
