AJT Equipment is proud to announce the successful manufacture, installation, commissioning, and calibration of a bespoke 3000 Tonne Tensile Test Machine for Anker Schroeder in Dortmund, Germany.

This state-of-the-art machine represents a major advancement in high-capacity material testing, This reinforces our dedication to engineering excellence and technological innovation.

Unmatched Strength and Precision

Engineered to meet exacting customer requirements, this custom-built 3000 Tonne tensile test machine sets a new benchmark in tensile testing. Specifically designed for testing heavy-duty shackles and tie rods used in large-scale infrastructure projects, the machine offers:

  • Proof Load Capacity: Up to 3,000 tonnes

  • Break Load Capacity: Up to 2,000 tonnes

  • Minimum Test Capacity: 150 tonnes

  • Versatile Test Sample Size Range: From 1 to 7 metres in length

  • Advanced Hydraulic System: Two 55kW hydraulic pumps can be used independently for energy efficiency, or in tandem for accelerated testing

  • Intelligent Data Logging: Custom AJT software allows full programming and logging of test parameters, ensuring consistent, high-precision results

  • Engineering Powerhouse: Weighing over 120 tonnes, the machine is nearly 15 metres long and over 2 metres high.

  • Precision Assured: Calibrated to ISO 7500 standards with Class 1 accuracy (better than within 1% of the applied load)

The machine is now fully operational in its own purpose-built facility in Dortmund, complete with an overhead crane to ensure safe and efficient handling of large products for testing.

International Delivery and Installation

Transporting this monumental piece of equipment required a coordinated logistics operation involving eight vehicles to move the system from our facilities in the West Midlands, UK, to Dortmund, Germany. Now fully installed in a specially designed testing area, the machine is ready to support Anker Schroeder’s mission of delivering the highest quality components to the global construction and engineering sectors.
